Terms, Conditions & Privacy Policies

General Data Protection Regulation

The content of this website is of a general nature with regard to the activities of Ancestral Therapy Care. You determine its value for your own situation. You remain solely responsible for the actions you take or fail to take regarding your health. We recommend, without obligation, that you consult a general practitioner if you would like information and advice regarding your specific health situation. Ancestral Therapy Care accepts no liability for any damage that may result from the use of information, links or guidelines on this website.

Terms of payment

These terms and conditions form part of the treatment agreement between the client and the therapist.

Appointments that cannot be kept must be canceled orally or by e-mail at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of late or late cancellation, the therapist reserves the right to charge the client the consultation rate for the reserved time. The invoice must be paid within fourteen days of the invoice date. If payment is not made within the specified period, the client will be in default from the fifteenth day after the invoice date.

The therapist has the right to discontinue the treatment if (absence) invoices are not paid within the agreed time.

The therapist can also decide, without further notice, to discontinue the treatment if you have not appeared for an appointment more than 2 times without notice.

Consultation
If necessary, Ancestral Therapy Care will, of course in consultation and with your explicit permission, maintain contact with your general practitioner or another referrer.

Reimbursement
If you have taken out supplementary health insurance, you can usually receive a reimbursement from the health insurer for the treatments of Ancestral Therapy Care. You must agree the actual reimbursement with your insurer afterwards. You therefore pay for treatments at Ancestral Therapy Care yourself. In order to be eligible for reimbursement, you must then submit the invoice to the health insurer yourself.

Complaints procedure

In the event of a complaint, the complainant will turn to the relevant therapist. The complaint is discussed in a personal conversation and an attempt is made to find a solution. If this does not have the desired effect, the complainant can address the complaint in writing to one of the nationally operating complaints committees. The complaints committee mediates, possibly conducts an investigation and makes a recommendation.

Complaints
If you have complaints that we cannot solve together, you can contact the GAT, of the professional association to which I am affiliated as an therapist. More information can be found at the Complaints Committee for Alternative Treatment Methods.

Treatment
Prior to a treatment, the therapist explains the working method and the treatment plan, and indicates which actions will be performed. If you object to these actions, please report this immediately.

Privacy
In order to perform the treatment as well as possible, Ancestral Therapy Care keeps a record of medical and administrative data. Only data that is necessary for the treatment is registered. Ancestral Therapy Care handles this information with care and adheres to the applicable legal rules.
Discussed topics remain confidential and will not be discussed with third parties.

As a client you have the right to inspect your file and you can request a copy of it.

House rules and treatment

Because there are always several clients present at the same time, the clinic has drawn up house rules to prevent accidents, incidents and confusion. In addition, a number of guidelines have been drawn up for dealing with and treating clients, according to which the clinic works. Both with the aim of creating and maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for clients, visitors and employees.

Clients must behave in accordance with generally applicable (decency) norms and values.

The clinic reserves the right to remove persons who ventilate offensive behavior from the premises.

Since the clinic also treats disabled clients, it is commendable that, in the absence of seating space, these people are given a seat with priority.

If you leave a coat or other belongings on the coat rack or in the waiting room, pay attention to valuables that are present there.

The clinic is not responsible for theft of property in the building or outside area (car, bicycle).

When parking a bicycle or car, please do so in such a way that everyone can continue their way undisturbed.

If you read literature or your children play with toys while waiting  , please put them back when you leave the waiting area.

In the event of an emergency, you must follow the instructions of the staff or the competent authority (fire brigade, police).

The method of treatment of the client is explained prior to the treatment. This will indicate which actions will be performed. If there are objections to the actions, the client must indicate this immediately.

If, for example, there is an objection to certain actions and/or forms of treatment due to religious beliefs, the client must make this known at the first appointment, so that the treating therapist can judge whether the client can be treated.

If a client objects to being treated by a therapist of the opposite sex, this should be stated before the first consultation.

The therapist, and any supervisors, should behave respectfully towards the client and refrain from informality, which is not desirable.

If situations arise that are not desired, another therapist will be advised or the treatment will be terminated in consultation with the client and therapist.
