What is it and for what type of complaint?

Auriculotherapy is a diagnostic and treatment technique, derived from acupuncture, which promotes the patient's energy, psychic and organic rebalancing, through specific energy points located in the auricular pavilion.

There are two types of auricular techniques: that of the Chinese school and that of the French school. The stimulus can be carried out by means of needles, crystal, gold, silver, steel, magnetized spheres or rapeseed or mustard seeds.

The indications for using auriculotherapy are numerous. For example: Anxiety, weight loss, breathing problems, headaches, smoking, PMS control, muscle pain, among others.

Duration: Each session lasts around 15 to 30 minutes, depending on whether or not there is moxotherapy or other combined therapy (moxotherapy, electroacuncture, magnetotherapy, stiper).

Procedure: Insertion of crystal, gold, silver, steel, magnetized or rapeseed or mustard seeds into the ear cavity, according to the patient's treatment protocol.
