What is it and for what type of complaint?

Integrative or Holistic Therapy is a therapeutic system that encompasses a set of practices. This approach is theoretically anchored in Holism, which assumes that all living beings (which are unique) and the environment work in an integrated manner. The term holism is derived from the Greek, holos - whole / whole. Therefore, the proposed individualized treatment will always aim to harmonize the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions of the patient, since these aspects are in constant interrelationship.

Some of the techniques that make up the practice are: acupuncture, apitherapy, aromatherapy, art therapy, chakra alignment, chromotherapy, circular dance, herbal medicine, geotherapy, hypnotherapy, homeopathy, meditation, music therapy, naturopathy, reiki, reflexotherapy, floral therapy, spa, yoga and many others. The use of each method varies according to the therapist's specialty and the treatment protocol defined to meet the patient's demands and needs.

Duration: Each session lasts around 1 hour.

Procedure: After the patient has reported on why he sought psychotherapy. The necessity and the feasibility of the patient to undergo or not the treatment will be evaluated. If so, several techniques can be used to assist the patient in his journey of self-knowledge and self-healing.
