The Herbal Ball massage is an ancient practice, originated from Ayurvedic medicine (sweda) that initially expanded to other cultures in the east (mainly China and Thailand) and later to the west. It is a treatment that combines 4 techniques applied concurrently: aromatherapy, thermotherapy, phytotherapy and massage therapy.

The Herbal Balls are sachets of cotton, muslin or linen, which have inside: medicinal herbs and / or aromatic herbs and / or spices and / or rice, among other elements with therapeutic attributes. Sweda herbal balls are prepared with rice cooked in herbs (specific to each type of dosha and / or the patient's need) and milk, they are highly nutritious and relaxing. Thai (luuk pra khop) and Chinese herbal balls are prepared with herbs and roots (dried and / or fresh) and associated or not with salt, essential oils and other substances with medicinal active ingredients, they are highly aromatic and reassuring.

The technique of using the pindas provides that they are heated before application to the patient. The form of heating (steam or dry) varies according to the type of blade being used. They are indicated to treat: arthritis, osteoarthritis, asthma, cellular malnutrition, inflammation, nervous system diseases, stroke sequelae, stress, anxiety, muscle tension, among others.

The benefits of herbal balls are: skin rejuvenation, body toning, relieves pain, reduces swelling and swelling, induces deep relaxation, activates blood and lymphatic circulation, energizes the body and produces emotional and mental well-being.
