Thalassotherapy is an ancient technique, which consists of using the therapeutic properties of water, algae, mud and other marine elements, which are rich in minerals such as iron, iodine, magnesium, potassium, sodium, other trace elements and ions. The term comes from the Greek, thalassa - sea and therapeia - therapy, treatment, cure.

The practice acts as an adjunct in body and facial aesthetic treatments, slimming, detoxification and rejuvenation of the skin tissue, fighting stretch marks, cellulite and sagging, localized fat, among others. The benefits of the technique are the stimulation of the immune, blood and lymphatic system, the promotion of physical and mental relaxation, the stimulation of collagen production, the softening, lubrication and revitalization of the skin, the lightening of blemishes, the reduction and prevention of wrinkles and expression lines.

Praxis is also indicated for patients with arthritis, atrosis, anxiety, fatigue and muscle pain, insomnia, osteoporosis, dermatological problems, rheumatism, fluid retention and edema, respiratory disorders. Procedure: Initially the area to be treated is exfoliated and massaged, then the bandages or thalasso-clay are applied. The treatment is completed with medicated gel according to the patient's needs.
